Puppies

What every board and train includes
- Your dog boards with a professional trainer for the whole program.
- A one-on-one handoff session at pickup: about 1.5 hours for one week, 2 hours for two weeks, and 2 to 3 hours for three weeks.
- The e-collar and leash, included in the price.
- Lifetime refreshers on the one and two week programs.
Frequently misunderstood facts
- The e-collar is not used as punishment. It is a communication tool, like a tap on the shoulder. We put it on your arm first so you can feel how mild it is.
- Not every program uses an e-collar. Basic Marker Mastery is reward-based and uses a clicker, slip lead and 15-foot leash, with no e-collar or prong collar.
- Your dog will not always need to wear the e-collar. Inside the home most dogs listen without it. We recommend it whenever your dog is outside off leash.
- Aggression is managed, not erased. Nobody can promise a complete fix for aggression toward dogs or people; we give you control and help you manage it.
- E-collar training starts at about five months. Younger puppies train with the clicker and treat method instead.
- The Reactivity Board and Train needs a consultation first. A trainer consultation is required before booking it.
- Packages are paid before lessons are scheduled. Once a package is paid, we send you the link to our calendar to book your appointments.
What Off Leash K9 Training Boise is not
- Not a walk-in facility. We serve Boise and the Treasure Valley by appointment and have no public storefront.
- Not a quick fix. Programs run from one private lesson to three weeks of board and train, and we teach you how to keep the training going in your daily routine.
- Not the same business as other Off Leash K9 Training locations. This page covers the Boise location only.
